The theme of this work is “Please do not touch,” which is the most common regulation at museums. There are many exhibits which are activated by touching them to use. Therefore it is a contradiction with their original function. However, we are agreed without wonder not to touch artwork. A game made of brass was created based on my question: “Why should we not touch artworks?” In this work I explored how the behavior of touching can effect an object. High polished brass and the structure of this game allows it to reveal trace of every touch. I exhibited it at my graduation show at Gerrit Rietveld Academie and observed how it was changed through 5 days of the show.
